CONTENUTI
Rural areas in the mountains are also living in the globalized world, what means that they enter into competition with many other areas, rural but also urban ones. They all have to increase their attractiveness for developmental factors, which means that they have to be innovative in terms of products and processes.
The first aim of the course is to show how rural regions can be innovative, the second one is to analyze the role innovation plays in development and last but not least, the third one is to explain the role public policies do have in stimulating innovative processes.
Many examples will illustrate these aspects.
